NutraShure, a developer and supplier of dietary supplement and functional food and beverage ingredients, will be showcasing its latest innovations at SupplySide West: Biomend and SA3X.
Biomend is a patent-pending, tasteless butyrate ingredient evidenced to support a healthy gut and immune function. Butyrate is a four-carbon short-chain fatty acid that occurs naturally in some foods, and is produced by gut bacteria during the fermentation of dietary fibers. Biomend, which is formulated uniquely as L-lysine butyrate, is uniquely liquid-soluble compared to other butyrate ingredients on the market. Biomend helps to overcome taste, distribution, and sedimentation challenges, making it suitable for gummies, chocolates, and other food products.
SA3X is an ingredient derived from paracress (Spilanthes acmella), a plant traditionally used for centuries that is now common in men’s health products. In clinical studies, SA3X is associated with increases in men’s muscle size, strength, and sexual satisfaction. One study on SA3X found that, in 326 healthy, sexually active men, the treatment group saw a significant increase in serum testosterone levels after only two months of use. In another study on 448 men, subjects reported an 80% increase in sexual satisfaction after 8 weeks of supplementation, with most men reporting results in the first seven days. SA3X is suitable for capsules, tablets, ready-to-mix powders, and ready-to-drink beverages.
NutraShure will also be showcasing its legacy ingredients, 3DPump Breakthrough and Polynol.
3DPump Breakthrough is a blend of: L-citrulline, an amino acid which enhances nitric oxide production and blood flow; high-yield glycerol, which aids in cell volume and fullness and increases exercise tolerance time; and amla fruit, an Ayurvedic botanical evidenced to make nitric oxide more bioavailable, with other clinical benefits. It is formulated to support greater muscle volumization potential, sports performance, reduced perceptions of exertion, and greater stamina.
Polynol is a sugarcane extract rich in polyphenols, flavonoids, and proanthocyanidins. Polyphenols exhibit strong antioxidant activity, and the polyphenol-rich sugarcane extract may also help to deter glucose and fructose uptake and support blood sugar management, according to the company. It’s also clinically-evidenced to support healthy skin appearance in the presence of UV exposure, NutraShure reported.
